Two arrests are on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary for July 29th through Friday morning…a 35 year old male for driving under suspension at Highway 133 and County Road p-30, and a 44 year old male for driving under suspension in Arlington. Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report also shows a 16 year old took his mother’s vehicle – no tickets were issued, but a discussion was had with the mother and her offspring. A large hay bail fire in the 11 thousand block of Dutch Hall Road was handled by Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue with deputies providing traffic control. And among several other incidents on that report, a person in Fort Calhoun flagged down a deputy, and proceeded to give them an ice cream bar and thank them for their service.
