NPPD has some energy saving tips for customers to save money on their electric bills this summer. Media Relations Specialist Grant Otten says it all starts with properly cooling your home.
Otten recommends using ceiling or box fans or any type of fan you have, adding they only work when you’re in the room.
Otten recommends using the proper appliances for cooking.
Otten also recommends unplugging and turning off Electronics you’re not using such as Computers and Monitors, and also Lights to save money on Electricity.
Otten says this also includes not leaving blinds and curtains open.
