NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community College volleyball team returned to their home floor for the first time in a couple of weeks Wednesday night at the Cox Activities Center against Southeastern Community College. The Hawks came out on top in the showdown by a final score of 3-0 in three sets.
The Hawks (11-9, 1-4 ICCAC) pulled off a clean sweep of an opponent for the seventh time this season, and the victory also marked Northeast’s first conference win of the campaign.

HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head volleyball coach Amanda Schultze on what worked well for her team tonight:
“We did a much better job at passing the ball tonight,” Schultze said. “We bettered the out of system balls, which is something we worked on a lot last week. We got our middles and right sides going right away.”
Schultze on what she wants the focus to be heading into the weekend slate:
“I’m hoping we can continue taking what we learn in practice over into the games,” Schultze said.
