KTIC Area Storms cause power outages, downed power lines

The entire KTIC listening area was hit hard by severe storms Thursday night. There were Tornado Warnings for Cuming, Burt, Dodge, Thurston, and Monona Counties as well as Colfax and Platte. Downed power lines and power outages were reported in West Point, including at the KTIC Studios, where power was out for nearly 2 hours, causing both 107.9 the Bull and Classic Country KTIC to go off the air.
