Governor Pillen to Cut Ribbon Celebrating Completion of US-30 Expressway Columbus to Fremont

August 2, 2024 (Lincoln, Neb.) — The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT), together with Governor Jim Pillen and North Bend Mayor Rod Scott, will host an event on Monday, August 5th to celebrate the completion of the US-30 Expressway Columbus to Fremont.

Completion of the 47 miles, east-west, four-lane expressway will improve safety by reducing congestion on US-30 and improve regional connectivity with the communities of Columbus, Schuyler, Rogers, North Bend, Fremont and Omaha.

NDOT Director Vicki Kramer, Governor Jim Pillen, North Bend Mayor Rod Scott, and Craig Hughes, Cedar Valley Paving Vice President of Operations will make brief remarks.

           with ribbon-cutting
