The Cuming County Board of Supervisors will consider steps to study a long range planning for the County’s Communications System at a meeting next Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. Cuming County Economic Development Executive Director David Branch says this has to do with a cost savings measure for 911 services.

Branch says they’re setting up a committee to do some research with the State and different local communications systems to see if there’s a way to reduce cost for 911.

Branch says they’re looking to form a committee of 15-20 people.

Branch says anyone who wants to be on the committee should simply show up to the meeting.
