The boys high school golf state championships started on Tuesday and concluded on Wednesday.
In Class C at the Elks Country Club in Columbus, Tekamah-Herman finished in third place overall as a team, with a two-day total of a 687. Brock Rogers finished in a tie for 14th with a 162, Brody Rogers was 23rd with a 171. Carson Thomsen of Oakland-Craig also tied for 23rd with a 171. Kolton Kriete of Logan View tied for 39th with a 179.
In Class D at Lake Maloney Golf Club in North Platte, Pender placed third overall, shooting a two day total of a 688, and Howells-Dodge finished fourth overall with a 701. Pender’s Quinton Heinemann finished in a tie for 8th with a 166. Pender’s Mitchell Kelly and GACC’s Livia Hunke tied for 19th with a 171. Cole Grovijohn of Howells-Dodge was 22nd with a 173.
