The Central Community College women’s basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak with a 65-60 win over Midland University JV on Monday night in Fremont.

The Raiders had the advantage at halftime, 29-26. The contest remained close in the second half as the teams were deadlocked after three quarters, 43-43. The Raiders pulled away with a late run in the fourth quarter to take the five-point victory.

“I was proud of the girls’ effort,” said CCC head coach Billy Perkins. “It was a tough win on the road and they never gave up.”
