Central Community College softball is pleased to announce the signing of Haley Johnson, a senior at North Bend Central High School.
A four-year letter winner for the Tigers, Johnson sports a .432 career batting average and a .507 on-base-percentage. She scored 98 runs on 108 hits, recorded 101 RBI and belted 17 homeruns. Johnson was named to the All-East Husker Conference Team as a junior and senior and earned Class C All-State First Team honors during her junior campaign. She also earned Academic All-State honors as a junior and senior.
“We love getting local kids and when we get someone with Haley’s talent and work ethic, it makes it that much better,” said CCC head coach Caitlin Simon. “Haley is solid on both sides of the ball and an even better student.”
Johnson will be an academic transfer major at CCC. She is the daughter of Tom and Teri Johnson of Prague.
