MINATARE, Neb. — The Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska concluded its 2024 event near Minatare on June 7 and 8, drawing over 3,000 attendees in support of cancer research and local health and wellness programs.

“We are thrilled to share the incredible success of the 2024 Cattlemen’s Ball,” said Scott Schiff, 2024 host of the Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska, Inc. “The funds raised will make a significant difference in the fight against cancer and in supporting health and wellness initiatives in our local communities.”

This year’s event raised $1,685,176.87 for the Buffett Cancer Center and $187,242 for local wellness initiatives. Ninety percent of the funds will go to the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center to support groundbreaking cancer research and treatment. The remaining ten percent will be distributed to local health and wellness programs.

The event was hosted by the Scott and Kristin Schiff family at their venue north of Minatare.

As the Cattlemen’s Ball looks forward to the 2025 event, the organization remains committed to supporting cancer research and enhancing local health and wellness programs. Next year’s event will take place in Blue Springs, Nebraska, on June 6 and 7, 2025.
