A Nebraska grain merchandiser that was part of the 2023 Wheat Export and Marketing Workshop says he’s thankful for the opportunity to see where much of the country’s wheat is exported.
Colby Riesen, who works for Farmers Coop out of Hemingford, detailed some of the tours the group went on as part of the second day of the trip.

Each year the Nebraska Wheat Board sponsors an educational marketing and export tour in Portland Oregon. Wheat growers and other stakeholders have the chance to see firsthand how their product is marketed and exported after it leaves the farm.
