Farming is a family affair | 2021 Fridays in the Field | Ep. 6

June 11th, 2021

Susan takes us back to Columbus to visit with the Kamrath family about alfalfa and pumpkins.

The Kamrath family of Columbus has been fighting the weather to get bales put up.

Hot and humid days have made baling through the night the only option for Jim Kamrath.

Luckily, Kamrath’s grandson Ben helps out with the pumpkins and corn so Kamrath can focus on the alfalfa crop.

Susan will continue to follow Kamrath through this growing season, as they put up a hay crop, and grow pumpkins for a busy fall.

Fridays in the Field is brought to you by FNBO, the Great Big Small Bank.
