October 11th, 2021

Nebraska Quarterback Adrian Martinez speaks to the media on Monday at the weekly Huskers Press Conference.

Adrian Martinez has started every game at quarterback this season. He has completed more than 60 percent of his passes (118-of-178) for 1,754 yards and nine touchdowns, becoming the first player in school history with four 1,000-yard passing seasons. Martinez also eclipsed 1,000 season passing yards in only four games, joining Tommy Armstrong Jr. as the second Husker to throw for 1,000 yards in the first four games of a season. In addition to his work through the air, Martinez has rushed 88 times for 450 yards and a career-high 10 scores. Martinez enters the Minnesota game as Nebraska’s leading passer, rusher and scorer. He is one of only three FBS players to lead his team in each of those three categories.
