The U.S. average retail price for regular gasoline rose to $3.71 a gallon on Monday. That’s up 5.7
cents from a week ago, based on the weekly price survey by the U.S. Energy Information
Administration.
Pump prices were highest in the West Coast states at 5.17 a gallon, up 32.7 cents from a week
ago. Prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast region at $3.12 a gallon, down 3.9 cents.
The average price of a gallon of regular grade unleaded in Nebraska on Wednesday was $3.622, or about 2.5 cents higher than one week ago according to AAA Nebraska.
