Semi Fire Between Seward and Milford Closes Stretch I-80 Westbound

SEWARD COUNTY- At approximately 7:30 A.M. Tuesday morning a semi-trailer fire occurred on I-80 Westbound near mile-marker 380 between the Seward and Milford exit. It had closed a portion of I-80 westbound from Exit 388 (Crete) to Exit 382 (Milford).  At this time I-80 westbound in the area has re-opened, with both lanes available to motorists.

According to the Seward County Sheriffs Office, a driver called in and said the brakes of the semi-trailer were on fire and that the vehicle was pulling over. The Seward County Sheriffs office also said that the driver of the semi was able to get out without any injuries.
