Pinnacle Bank Earns Late win over  First State Bank

Lexington- Pinnacle Bank of Lexington earned a walk off win over First State Bank of Holdrege on Monday night 11-10. Greyson Strauss drew a bases loaded walk that forced in the game winning run for the Lexington seniors. Holdrege had a 10-8 lead going into the bottom of the 7th but couldn’t hold on for the win. After jumping out to 2-0 lead on a Trey Weaver double in the first, Holdrege added four runs in the 5th and four more in the 6th. Lexington countered with three in the 4th, three in the 5th and three in the 7th. Strauss started the game for Lexington going four and a third innings allowing four hits, and five runs while striking out eight. Gabriel Yochum gave up two runs on one hit over three innings with two k’s in his start for First State Bank. Daven Naylor went to 2-3 at the plate to lead Lexington. Holdrege collected nine hits in the game with Weaver going 3-3. Lexington is now 7-5 on the season while Holdrege is 3-5. In the Juniors game Holdrege improved to 11-0 on the season with a 16-2 win in five innings. Click here to listen to podcast of the game.
