LINCOLN – The NSAA girls & boys Basketball tournaments will have a different look this spring. The NSAAs executive board voted 8-0 on Thursday to keep the boys and girls state basketball tournaments in Lincoln. Both will now be five-day events at Pinnacle Bank Arena and Lincoln Public School gyms. All of the games will be played in one game sessions. Scheduling conflicts had arisen due to the Nebraska volleyball team playing this spring and current Directed Health Measures that would limit the number of fans at the games.

Here is the new format

Tuesday
Four Class A and two Class B first round games at Pinnacle Bank Arena
Wednesday
Two Class B and four Class C1 first round games at Pinnacle Bank Arena
All Class C2, D1 and D2 first round games at various Lincoln high schools

Thursday
Class C2, D1 and D2 semifinals at Pinnacle Bank Arena

Friday
Class A, B and C1 semifinals at Pinnacle Bank Arena

Saturday
All championship games at Pinnacle Bank Arena
