North Platte area golf course damaged by vandals

North Platte, Neb. — Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Indian Meadows Golf Course just west of North Platte on Tuesday, Aug. 3, at 7:30 a.m. An early morning golfer advised several golf carts were damaged as well as the course.

Deputies surveyed the area and found nine carts sustained damage ranging from minor to totaled. Preliminary costs to repair the carts and golf course could run up to $50,000.00.

Through physical evidence left by the suspects and homeowners around the area, it appears multiple suspects were involved in the damage.
