Minutemaid Golfers Headed To State
Minutemaids place second at B-4 Golf

Ogallala- It turned out to be a good day for the Lexington girls golf team as the Minutemaids qualified for the Class B State tournament as they finished 2nd at the B-4 District tournament at Crandell Creek in Ogallala. Lexington was led by O’Brasia Amos who fired an 85 which was good enough for 3rd place. Also medaling for Lexington was Abigail Owens who shot a 98 which placed her 9th. Isabella Carlson shot a 115, Ella Ford fired a 144 and Sydni Ringenberg shot a 149. Scottbluff won the event, while Gering finished second. This is Lexington’s first trip to state as a team since 2007. The Class B state meet is set for next Monday and Tuesday in Gering.
