Minden-It continues to be a summer to remember for the Minden senior baseball squad. First Bank is 12-1 on the season heading into Tuesday’s game with Ravenna. Ben Edgecombe is 4-1 this year on the mound for Minden with a save and a 2.80 era. As a team Minden is hitting 325 as Edgecombe has knocked in 15 runs, while Brennan Runge who is one of three Axtell kids on the team has two home runs and 19 RBI’s. Minden is scheduled to host the Class B Area-7 tournament at the end of the season.
