Former Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez was rewarded for having a huge season as this week he was named to the UFL’s all league squad. Although he did not begin the year as the Birmingham Stallions’ starter, Martinez finished the season as one of just two players to throw for 300 yards or more and the only one to pass for more than 350 yards in a single game. He ends the regular season as the UFL’s leading rusher 528 yards and also finished the regular season with more than 2,200 total yards and 18 touchdowns on a team that went 9-1.
The 2024 United Football League playoffs begin this weekend. The USFL Conference Championship Game is slated for 3 p.m. ET Saturday (June 8) at Protective Stadium, where the Birmingham Stallions will host the Michigan Panthers. The XFL Conference Championship will kick off at 7 p.m. ET Sunday (June 9) at The Dome at America’s Center, with the St. Louis Battlehawks hosting the San Antonio Brahmas.
The 2024 UFL season will conclude with the Championship game, presented by the U.S. Army, on June 16th, hosted at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis.
