Lexington High school is once again hosting the annual John Higgins Invite. Teams in attendance include Adams Central, Beatrice, Bennington ,Cozad, Gering, Gothenburg, Hastings, Holdrege, Lexington, ,McCook, North Platte,Scott City, KS, Sidney, Wray, CO. KRVN’s Jayson Jorgensen spoke this week with Lexington head coach Karl Degenhardt about the weekend.
Saturday’s action starts at 9am with the finals around 4pm. Along with the Varsity boys action on Saturday, Lexington will host a Girls Varsity and Boys JV tournament on Friday. Those events will start at 2pm, with the finals for the Girls expected to start around 7pm.
