Lexington Sweeps Double-Header With Broken Bow

Lexington-Both the Pinnacle Bank Seniors and Juniors Baseball teams beat Broken Bow on Thursday night. Lexington won the seniors game 11-4 as they erupted for seven runs in the sixth inning to pull away for the win. Daven Naylor, Jase Carpenter, Jacksen Konrad, Mitch McFadden, and Conlan Kjar all drove in runs that inning. Jase Carpenter picked up the win on the mound in relief as he went one and two-thirds innings, allowing no runs on no hits and he struck out four.

In the Juniors game, Lexington Heartland Chevrolet won it 13-9. Lexington pounded out 12 hits in the game while Broken Bow had five. After Broken Bow scored four runs in the top of the fourth, Lexington fought back with four of their own in the bottom of that inning. Mitch McFadden picked up the win for Lexington as he allowed three hits and seven runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out seven. Daylen Naylor led Lexington with three hits and two rbis.
