The Lexington Board of Education will be holding a planning session on this(Mon) afternoon beginning at 5:00pm. It will take place at the school district’s Central Office located at 300 South Washington. Among the items to be considered is a review of the “Five-Year Board Goals Update”, financial reports, discuss academic performance, student survey and projected expenditures in areas of technology and curriculum.
The Board will also discuss the potential for sharing a Community Liaison position with the City of Lexington and Lexington Regional Health Center. A potential facility study, possible real estate purchase and a tour of the High School and Pershing Elementary.
The meeting is open to the public and there is an agenda item for public comments as well.
