Arlan Suderman, Chief Ag Economist for Stone X, joins the Fonatnelle Final Bell midweek with lots of data hitting the market. Suderman shares his initial thoughts and reaction to the Federal Reserve’s announcement Wednesday afternoon. Suderman is quick to highlight that Wall Street and the market in general like cheap and easy money. Higher interest rates means a possible tapering of stimulus and less what the market enjoys. Suderman also explains the Federal Reserve has to do something about inflation before it becomes the hyper inflation of forty years ago. So there is a very fine line to walk and the Federal Reserve is in water it has never traversed before.

In the grain complex Suderman details how the weather models continue to change and what could be in store through the rest of the month. Suderman also explains what is happening in the current conditions to the crops already in the ground.

Suderman concludes with a brief statement on why soybean oil was limit lower and it’s possible ties to the Biden Administration wobbling on renewable fuel policies.
