BUFFALO COUNTY, Neb. — A Cozad man has been charged for his alleged involvement in a shooting at a strip club last month.

Buffalo County Court records say Corey Brestel, 24, is charged with possession of a defaced firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.

As NTV News reports, On July 31, two men who are a part of the Tribesman Motorcycle Club, were approached by 30 members of another motorcycle group known as the Homietos at Paradise City near Elm Creek.

The two men reported to authorities that the other group started attacking them, leaving one man injured.

Records say during the fight, another man identified as Richard Rios was shot.

Rios was then transported to the hospital by Brestel, who told authorities he is member of Homietos.

Authorities searched the car Brestel was driving and found three guns inside.

Brestel was arrested in Dawson County Tuesday, but it is not known if anyone has been charged in the actual shooting of Rios, or the assault on the two men.

Brestel is set to appear in Buffalo County Court for a preliminary hearing at 11 a.m. Sept. 22.
