A Colorado fugitive was appended in southwest Nebraska. Dundy County Sheriff Ryan King says a search warrant was executed at 243 East Street in Haigler, Nebr around 11:00am Wednesday July 31, 2024. The initial search warrant was to look for Robert Bullard, a wanted fugitive from Colorado Corrections as well as Yuma County Colorado. The search included Dundy County Sheriff’s Office, along with other officers from Nebraska State Patrol, Wray Colorado Police Department, Nebraska Game and Parks and Nebraska Brand Committee

Upon entering the R.V. parked at that residence, Robert Bullard was located hiding underneath the bed. Dundy County Deputies also observed items related to drug use inside of the R.V. A second search warrant was then executed for both the residence, outbuildings and vehicles on that property. Approximately 3 grams of Methamphetamine and approximately 100 needles used for Methamphetamine use were located on the property.

Bullard was arrested and transported to Red Willow County Jail while he awaits an extradition hearing to be taken back to Colorado.

Sheriff King expressed his appreciation to all the agencies who assisted in the matter including Benkelman E.M.S. He commended the 11 law enforcement officers involved in the search warrant that made it “happen safely”.
