Memorial Mass for Charles E. “Chuck” Neubauer will be held in May 2021, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Orleans, Nebraska with Father Maurice Current as Celebrant. Inurnment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, at Orleans.
A memorial book signing and rosary will be held prior to services at the church.
Charles Earl “Chuck” Neubauer, 53 years of age, of Carter Lake, Iowa, formerly of Missouri Valley, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, in Carter Lake. Chuck was born November 3, 1967, at Humboldt, Nebraska, the oldest of three sons born to Carl and Nancy (Luther) Neubauer. He received his education from Missouri Valley Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1986. Chuck then pursued higher education from Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, Iowa, and took classes to become a Computer Programmer.
On June 23, 1990, Chuck was united in marriage to Cindy Hall at the United Methodist Church in Missouri Valley. The couple made their home in the Missouri Valley area and they later divorced.
Chuck worked as a Computer Programmer for ES&S for a few years.
Chuck enjoyed NASCAR races, shooting his guns, listening to music, collecting dragons and all activities with friends around Missouri Valley.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Leroy and Zelma Luther; and Max and Evelyn Neubauer; three uncles: Fred Neubauer; Ford Neubauer; and Victor Ornelas; and his aunt, Linda Neubauer.
Chuck leaves to celebrate his life; his mother, Nancy K. (Luther) Neubauer of Missouri Valley; his father, Carl E. Neubauer of Bellevue, Nebraska; two brothers: Chris Neubauer of Omaha, Nebraska; and Corey Neubauer of Chicago, Illinois and his fiancé, Barbara Vitek of Blair, Nebraska; uncles: Roger Luther and his wife, Jennifer of rural Orleans, Nebraska; Larry Neubauer and his wife, Madaline of Bedford, Texas; and Dennis Neubauer of Alma, Nebraska; aunts: Marilyn Ornelas of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; and Pat McShea of Minden, Nebraska; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
A memorial has been established in Chuck’s honor and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
