Las Vegas, Nev. (July 20, 2022) —  Wyoming Cowboy Football will be featured this week along with the other 11 Mountain West football programs as MW Football Media Days kick off the 2022 season at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Wednesday’s schedule will see all 12 head football coaches conduct interviews with MW television partners CBS Sports Network and FOX Sports, as well as media members from around the conference.  On Thursday, players from each Mountain West school will take center stage.

Wyoming is being represented by head coach Craig Bohl, junior running back Titus Swen and sophomore linebacker Easton Gibbs.

The Mountain West released on Wednesday the results of the 2022 Predicted Order of Finish in voting by media members from around the conference.  Wyoming is predicted to finish fifth in the MW Mountain Division in 2022.  The last time Wyoming was picked outside the top two teams in the Mountain Division preseason poll was 2019 when the Cowboys were picked fourth and went on to win the 2019 Arizona Bowl.  The last time the Pokes were picked outside the top four teams in the MW preseason poll was the 2016 season when UW was picked to finish sixth in the Mountain Division.  That season, the Cowboys would go on to win the Mountain Division, host the Mountain West Championship Game and earn a berth in the 2016 Poinsettia Bowl.
