WNCC to host volleyball camps July 21-24

Western Nebraska Community College volleyball coach Binny Canales has scheduled four volleyball camps for the last part of July for individuals to take part in ranging from ages five to 18.

The four camps will take place in a 4-day period.

The first camp is an Individual Middle School Camp that will be held July 21 and 22 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at Cougar Palace. The second camp is an Individual High School Skills Camp that will be held July 21 and 22 from 1-5 p.m. at Cougar Palace. Both camps cost $50 per camp participant and includes a T-shirt if pre-registered by July 14.

The second group of camps will be held July 23-24. The first one is an Individual Elementary Camp for elementary ages in first through fifth grade from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The second camp is the Setter, Hitter, Libero Camp that will be held from 1-5 p.m. on those two dates for ages 7th through 12th grade. Cost for both camps is $50 per participant and includes a camp T-shirt if pre-registered before July 14.

The camp instructors will be WNCC head coach Binny Canales along with current and former volleyball assistants as well as current and former Cougar players.

Camp flyers can be picked up at the WNCC athletic office in the Williams Building on campus or can be downloaded off the WNCC athletic website at www.wnccathletics.com and under the Camps/Events Tab.
