Authorities have closed down Highway 71 following report of a collision north of Scottsbluff.
Few details were immediately available, but the Nebraska Department of Transportation reported the roadway closed approximately 15 miles north of the city between mile markers 82 and 85.
KNEB staff reported what appeared to have been part of the emergency response, with several State Patrol units and Airlink dispatching toward the scene around 5:40 p.m.
