Authorities say one person died from injuries received in a crash this morning in the southern part of Gering.
Preliminary yet-to-be confirmed information indicated the crash took place around 7:50 a.m. with first responders called to the 800 block of 10th Street for what was called a truck versus vehicle collision, with one of the vehicles catching fire.
Nebraska State Patrol spokesman Cody Thomas confirms one person was killed as a result of the crash, and more details will be released as the NSP concludes their investigation.
