Gering’s Emily Krzyzanowski emerged victorious once again on Tuesday at the Gering Invite at Monument Shadows Golf Course. Krzyzanowski ripped through her round to the tune of a 69, finishing four shots better than Scottsbluff’s Nielli Heinhold while Anna Kelley for the Bearcats finished in third place, five shots off the pace.
Scottsbluff used those second and third place finishes plus a top ten effort from Shae Willats to cruise to another team title with a combined score of 336. Mitchell bested Gering for second place by one shot, the Tigers finished at 396. Their top finisher was Jacque Bowles with a 91.
