A snapshot of K-through-12 enrollment in Wyoming schools shows the Goshen County School District rebounding to their pre-pandemic participation figures.
According to data released by the Wyoming Department of Education this week, GCSD had 1,657 students in the classroom as of October 1 this year, compared to 1,660 on the same date during the 2019-2020 school year.
This year’s GCSD enrollment represents a more than five percent rebound off the lowest figure during the pandemic, which was 1,574 last year.
Wyoming’s overall K-12 enrollment this year is down 352 students, with 28 districts seeing fewer students, 19 with an increase in size, and one with no change from 2021.
