The high school volleyball season rolled on Tuesday night and both Gering and Scottsbluff getting beat in five setters on the road.
Quite the showdown for Gering at Ogallala as the Indians won a marathon 27-25, 19-25, 34-32, 20-25, and 15-11. Gering is now 12-8 on the year with Ogallala improving to 14-4.
At Sidney it was the Lady Raiders downing Scottsbluff 25-15, 22-25, 25-21, 18-25, and 15-8. Ava Reed had a combined 21 kills, blocks, and aces to lead the Bearcats attack as they fell to 8-10 on the year while Sidney is now at 11-7.
