Because of the expected cold weather coming in for the weekend, the WNCC softball and baseball teams have altered their schedules.
The WNCC baseball team will play a doubleheader with Trinidad State College on Friday, March 24 at Cleveland Field beginning at 1 p.m. The second doubleheader of the series will not be played this Saturday, but will be played Wednesday, April, 26.
The Western Nebraska Community College softball schedule for this weekend changed once again. The Cougars will still travel to Trinidad, Colorado, to face Trinidad State College, but the games are back to Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The team will play one game on Friday at 1 p.m. followed by two games each on Saturday (beginning at 12 noon) and then two on Sunday (starting at 11 a.m.). WNCC will then return home the following weekend when they host Otero College in a three-day series.
