A Gering Junior High School school student gets top honors in a statewide competition.
This week judges were reviewing entries for the Nebraska Junior Duckstamp Contest.
Winning Best in Show was 7th grader Brody Mikesell, which means his artwork will be on the Nebraska Waterfowl Stamp next year.
Additionally, his artwork will be entered in the National Junior Duckstamp contest against other statewide winners.
