A 37-year-old Scottsbluff man has been sentenced in connection to a December, 2019 burglary at the Riverside Bar and Grill in Bridgeport.

Febronio “JR” Plasencio pleaded no contest last week to an amended charge of Theft by Unlawful Taking. In exchange for his plea, District Judge Andrea Miller ordered Plasencio to pay $4,302.61 in restitution. In addition, he was sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for 15 days already served.

In February, Plasencio was sentenced to 365 days in jail in a Scotts Bluff County case for stealing thousands of dollars from a GoFundMe fundraiser he spearheaded that was supposed to benefit the children of a local woman killed in a car crash.
