Norris scored on a 71-yard pass play in the 1st quarter for its only score of the game falling to Seward at Bulldog Stadium on the campus of Concordia University in Seward 14-7.
Seward’s offensive and defensive lines outmaneuvered the Titans throughout the game. Despite the heat and cramps, the Bluejays moved the ball on offense and held the Titans on defense.
The Titans had a last second chance to tie or win on the 1 foot line in the final seconds but the Bluejay defense held them to secure the win. Seward improves to 1-0 on the season and Norris falls to 1-1. Next game for Seward is at Lincoln Pius X.
