Lincoln- Nebraska’s coaching staff has a new member. Numerous media outlets are reporting that head coach Matt Rhule is hiring Glenn Thomas from the Pittsburgh Steelers to coach the quarterback position. Thomas spent time with Rhule at Baylor and Temple and coordinated the offense at Arizona State in 2022. Thomas who is a graduate of Texas Tech just completed his first season as the offensive coordinator with the Steelers. Marcus Satterfield will remain as Nebraska OC and will take over coaching the Husker tight ends. Last year Nebraska did not have a coach who was assigned to coach the qb position.
