Missing inmates arrested in Omaha

Omaha, Neb. — Two inmates sentenced from Dawson County who went missing from the Community Corrections Center in Lincoln on Thursday were arrested.

According to state prisons officials, 23 year old Jacob Roeder and 21 year old Clifford Brown were taken into custody on Sunday in Omaha.

Roeder is facing a new charge for possession of methamphetamine.

Roeder was sentenced out of Dawson County on multiple charges of possession of methamphetamine. He began his sentence in December of 2020.

Brown began serving his sentence in February of 2021. He was sentenced to just over two years on charges out of Dawson County that include two counts of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
