Huskers land center out of the transfer portal

Lincoln-Nebraska men’s basketball has landed its first player from the transfer portal this off season. Center, Andrew Morgan announced on social media today that he will play for the Huskers next season. He visited Lincoln last week. The 6-foot-10, 245-pounder spent the past three seasons with the North Dakota State Bison. Earlier in his career he was teammates with Sam Griesel, who also transferred to Nebraska a couple of seasons ago. Morgan will give the Huskers another body inside. Last year he averaged 13points and five rebounds a game while shooting 55 percent from the floor. He has one season of eligiblity remaining and was named 2nd team All Summit League this past season.
