Baltimore Ravens punter Sam Koch announced his retirement on Thursday, ending the career of the longest-tenured player in franchise history. The former Husker had a lot to say about the support he received from Husker nation over the years.
Koch also remembered his humble beginnings.
Koch will remain with the Ravens as a special teams consultant this season. A 16-year veteran, he played in a team-record 256 games in Baltimore and holds most of the team’s punting records.
