Former Husker men’s basketball guard and fan favorite Keisei Tominaga is getting a chance in the NBA after going undrafted last month.
ESPN reports that the Indiana Pacers have signed Tominaga to an Exhibit 10 deal.
As a senior last season for Nebraska, Tominaga averaged 15.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game while also shooting 37.6% from three-point range.
The Exhibit 10 deal is a non-guaranteed contract at the NBA’s league minimum salary, and it won’t count against Indiana’s salary cap unless Tominaga makes the regular season roster.
The contract can also be converted into a two-way deal before the beginning of the regular season, which would allow Tominaga to split time and play with both the Pacers and their G League team, the Indiana Mad Ants.
