TRENTON – A dominant performance by the 10-seed Cross County Cougars as they took down the 6-seed Hitchcock County Falcolns 56-20 in the NSAA Class D1 Semifinals.
Carter Seim led the attack for the Cougars, rushing for 290 yards and two scores. Haiden Hild contributed in the touchdown category throwing a touchdown pass to Cameron Graham near the end of the first half, and a 79-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown.
The Cougars will now play in the Class D1 state championship game in Lincoln on Monday, November 22. Kickoff is at 10:15 and you can hear it on 104.9 Max Country.
