The 39th Annual Cornhusker State Games is taking place this month in Lincoln and throughout several other communities in the State. Nebraska Sports Council Executive Director Dave Mlnarik says there’s something for everybody.
Mlnarik says most sports will take place the final two weekends of the month.
The final registration deadline is this coming Tuesday.

Mlnarik says some big names will be at Thursday night’s Opening Night Event.
Mlnarik says the torch lighting for the free event will happen just after 8:00 p.m., and there will be autographs and free ice cream as well.
