LINCOLN, NE (November 20th, 2023) – ALLO announced its intention to build fiber in York in November 2021, began construction in May 2022, and is happy to announce the construction of its 100% fiber-optic network is complete. ALLO now provides local businesses, residents, and governmental entities with internet, TV, phone, and managed service solutions over an all-fiber network.

“ALLO has set up shop in our downtown and has been a valuable partner with community events, such as our summer concert series,” said City Administrator Sue Crawford. “High speed internet throughout the entire community opens the door for all kinds of opportunities for businesses and residents in York.”

York joins 37 other communities across three states experiencing the ALLO Fiber difference. York’s GIG-enabled network is built to serve the community today and for decades into the future.

Regional General Manager Dave Miller further shared his excitement for the end of construction, “As a local telecommunications provider, our goal is to earn your business each day with hassle-free experiences, a dedicated team in York, and a faster, more reliable service. We’re looking forward to serving and growing with the York community now and for years to come. We welcome the community to stop by our downtown store at 611 N Lincoln Avenue and chat with Celeste Homan about ALLO services.”

As the community continues to develop, ALLO will study the feasibility of extending its fiber network to unserved areas. Established development areas outside the city limits are also considered. Visit AlloFiber.com/York for more information, to sign up for services, or to submit an unserved area for consideration.
