STACHE BOOK CLUB: Small Favor by Jim Butcher

Small Favor by Jim Butcher

The Dresden Files continues to be my favorite book series. It’s not even close. As I’ve read more books outside of my comfort zone, it’s nice to go back to the warm, cozy arms of a tall Chicago wizard.

Harry Dresden continues to be the main character I wish every book had. He’s complicated and witty but you know what to expect from him, and at the end of the day he is going to do the right thing, even when situations are dire. The tenth part in the Dresden Files brings us back the best villain in the series – Nicodemus, leader of the Denarians. If you’ve read much of this series, not much will surprise you about this book, and that’s the best part. Jim Butcher knows how to write these books and almost every one of them is funny, action packed, thoughtful and the best part? They are always heart warming. That’s what I want in a book. Thank goodness there are so many of these.

5 out of 5 stars. I love it!
