With a break in the work of our federal lawmakers, Sen. Pete Ricketts will be making a campaign stop in the Panhandle this week.
The Legacy of the Plains Museum will be the site of an ice cream social for Ricketts Tuesday, running from 3 to 5 p.m.
The event will give voters a chance to meet Ricketts as he seeks the Republican nomination to his Senate seat, and provide feedback on a variety of issues, whether local, state or nationwide.
If successful in the May primary and November general elections, Ricketts would serve two years before having to campaign for the seat again.
