The contest was held at the Embry- Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach,Florida. The Panhandle Cookie Bytes were proud to represent the Panhandle and Nebraska. They improved their robot game scores since the state contest in March going from 365 points to 425 points. They also improved their interview and presentation skills. While at Embry-Riddle, they had the opportunity to tour campus and were inspired by the departments of engineering, computer science, and aviation science. They had the experience of meeting teams from around the world including the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Australia, Greece, Croatia, and more. They also had the opportunity to present their innovation project, a community sewing lab, and their robot design to university administrators.

They are grateful for all sponsors and donors who made this trip possible. They are inspired and excited to continue to grow their minds and develop so they can solve any problem they may face in the future. They are also looking forward to next season “Submerged.”
